As general counsel for organizations, we address Human Resources and employment issues. Our lawyers are involved in giving advice on employment matters on a daily basis to Human Resources Managers who deal with Title VII, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), and a host of federal and state laws. We are consulted on claims arising from terminations as well as hiring decisions. We assist in responding to EEOC investigations and handle litigation that may result.

In addition to this transactional side of employment law, the firm also defends companies, agencies of the state, counties, and municipalities from claims under federal civil rights statutes relating to employment.

The firm has also represented plaintiffs for violation of their protected state and federal rights as employees.

For businesses and individuals, we also prepare and review employment contracts, including contracts not to compete and non-disclosure agreements.
